This new gesture does not piece of work on my touchpad and I guess this can refer to the current version of the touchpad driver is non however supported in this function because other gestures as 3 finger swipe to move all open up windows and three finger tap to call Cortana are always works well for me.
I was wondering if there is no update for the commuter for the touchpad to soon, or all those were simply my own question...
Thanks!

Reference Dell touchpad doesn't scroll in Windows 10 - Inspiron 11 3137
Updated my Inspiron 11 3137 to ten Windows by doing a make clean install. I installed all the drivers from the Dell Support site for Windows 10 x 64, including the v19.0.xv.two Dell Touchpad Commuter (A00) listed. I configured the touchpad settings equally I had them in the previous OS - with 2 fingers of active scroll. It worked fine, only now has problems to win x.
Win 10, scrolling works fine in Google Chrome and Nitro pdf reader simply (I've tested, at least). In Internet Explorer, and all of the 'modern' aka 'Metro' apps, scrolling does non work. When I whorl gesture, a small scroll of blazon icon appears but nothing happens (encounter fastened photo). I tried to reset the touchpad settings and I tried to uninstall / reinstall the driver, without success.

Hello
Generally for touchpad no additional driver is necessary. The touchpad also works without a driver touchpad as the standard Windows driver will be used.
Driver Touchpad is more important for special functions as virtual scrolling, change the borer settings, etc.
You can download all the drivers of Toshiba's official website:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers
But to wait for in driver * Archives * because he old laptop south model.
It due south no driver 32-bit of Windows 7 available, but I've seen touchpad driver for Vista. It should work on Windows vii besides. :)
Check this box!

Another question: why you lot n t endeavour the driver from the European page? Normally, it should besides piece of work on your laptop.

HP xv-p097tx: Synaptics TouchPad Driver for Windows 7 64 scrap (sp69001 and sp67269) does not piece of work
Hello
I just baught HP Pavilian xv-p097tx, which came with Windows eight.1. I like not this OS then I installed windows 7 64-bit Ultimate and subsequently installation of the hp Synaptics TouchPad Driver (sp69001 and sp67269) back up, the system Web site goes crazy, I mean windows deselect automatically and when I effort to access the touchpad from the Control Console options the organisation hangs. Aid, please
Thank you.
Hi @SushmitMazumdar ,
Thanks for visiting the Forums HP's Back up and welcome. I looked in your question nigh your HP Pavilion Notebook 15-p097tx and the problems with the commuter for the Synaptics TouchPad. If you uninstall the driver and restart the laptop, it will install automatically the best driver.
Here is a link to the HP Back up Assistant, if yous need information technology. Only download and run the awarding and it will help with the software and drivers on your organization.
I promise this helps.
Thanks.
7558 the touchpad driver/app
I take an onetime Inspiron of 2 weeks ii-in-1 15 7558 i5 8G 500GHD. Windows 8.1 running of the manufactory.
The problem is that I tin't control the touchpad. The biggest problem is the tap to click. The whole buffer including buttons move the mouse and reacts to the tap to click. It's very frustrating, considering when I press the button all sorts of crazy mouse click on register or when I try to click on a button, the mouse cursor moves because the push is part of the touch pad.
All I want to do is disable tap-to-click. When I open up Command Panel/mouse there is no touchpad tab nor the controls for the touchpad. In Device Manager, the Mouse/touchpad driver appears as a driver MS Mouse 2008 that seems very wrong, especially now that it is so from the manufacturing plant. I checked the site commuter from Dell for 1 pilot dissimilar both by model number and series number, no commuter of the touchpad or app. I establish synaptics, Alps, ealn and Cyprus drivers on the web, but none of them work.
Any prepare for that? Looks like that tactile disabling click should be obvious.
Thank you lot
Don
> BTW, your link is the 7568-oriented and I the 7558
Oh, sorry...
I'm not a native speaker of the English language language and and so apologize when there is an error.
Methods that are introduced in this page (world wide web.ryukent.com/.../fixed-install-synaptics-touchpad-driver-windows-eight-1), I call back information technology's probably the same fashion you lot did.
and, there is a description that I think is important.
My organization does not display Synaptics tab in the Panel :(
But
Run program files \ Synaptics------SynTP------SynTPEnh.exe
in this example, I retrieve that even if there is no tab for synaptics to control panel, the installation was successful.
Thus, if the data from the registry on synaptics is saved and customize information technology, I think information technology's possible to tap not valid click.
The registry of my laptop with a synaptics entry is in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER-Software-Synaptics
y at - it registers for registration on synaptics in your pc?
At the aforementioned time, either, just this is not a solution, is it possible to use this software?
Forum.TabletPCReview.com/.../TwoFingerScroll-v1-0-7-Update-2-Finger-scrolling-Done-Correct-more.38405
I commonly apply 1 of the functions that are provided by this software, when yous are touching with a finger, clicks when you tap on the other finger.
in this feature, I make it easier to click subsequently the cursor of the mouse motion with trackpad.
This software is for synaptics trackpad, and then I hope this helps app to use the trackpad on your portable calculator.
Value added package and touchpad commuter for Linux
I demand to value pack and a Synaptics touchpad driver and it should work on Ubuntu Linux.
Where can I find information technology?
How-do-you-do!
I put t know what phone you have but the Toshiba value added package is available for Windows. I checked the Web from Toshiba site but for Linux I tin t find information technology.
The commuter for the touchpad, normally yous can also find on the Toshiba site simply it s is only available for Windows. Perhaps you tin can find a driver on the site of the factory, for case, Synaptic.
Good bye

Satellite L955 - 10K - Synaptics Touchpad Commuter is not working properly
Hello, ASRR here.
I had a problem with my commuter for the Synaptics touchpad yesterday. I'm very used to use the "gestures" to work with my touchpad and the gestures did not piece of work properly (in fact at all) for a while. Scrolling with two fingers, iii fingers touch and others (in fact all the gestures) no longer work.
The cursor moves, and works fine merely not gestures.
When I go to mouse option in the Command Panel, a window appears indicating that the PC is "Unable to connect to the Synaptics Pointing Device Commuter." and asks me if I want to uninstall.
I accept tried to uninstall, and then go on to Toshiba support page and download a driver that has been adjusted for my model, operating organization, etc..
When I implemented the driver I downloaded and restart the PC, the same window appears when I try to go in mouse options in Control Panel and gestures don't work.
An interesting thing I noticed though, is the fact that when I dorsum the driver (in the settings to backdrop then Hardware) gestures do FINE. However, as he always asks y'all to restart the figurer for Rolling dorsum the commuter volition accept place, when I restart information technology, information technology defines the Microsoft 2006 touchpad driver. who does not understand the gestures that I need.
I tried several times to set up information technology, but I can't. I went the UEFI firmware prepare and tried to restore default just without success.
I really don't know what to practise. Could someone please aid?
My Toshiba model is a Satellite L-955-10 Grand with a 64-fleck processor and system of operating Windows 8 initially installed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
> I went the UEFI firmware set up and tried to restore default just without success.
How to empathize this? Take yous tried to put your laptop to factory settings?
To be honest I don't sympathise what the problem is here. I also idea that the new commuter installation tin can help but obviously it didn't aid much.
I don't know if this is an option for you, but you tin can fix laptop to manufactory over again and I promise that everything will work properly once more. Before doing this test also to roll back OS to an earlier time using System Restore choice.
Ane last thing: it has nothing to do with your touchpad problem, but I recommend you create a recovery (recovery backup epitome) using pre-installed recovery media creator media.
HP 250 G3: I can't find the touchpad commuter
Hello all!
I recently bought a nice HP 250 G3 (code: J4R70EA). I am very sattisfied with my purchase (even if there is a dead pixel that now I've corrected). I besides managed to install and find all the drivers (since information technology came with FreeDOS), except for the touchpad driver. The touchpad works but all useful actions are missing.
Tin can yous please help to notice the last updated driver for my touchpad so that I can utilize gestures effectively?
PS: I take a 32 bit Windows seven Bone. HP just provides 64-bit for my laptop drivers. I like to proceed 32-chip.
Thank you!
Cheers for the respond!
I just think that 64-bit OS are a unacessary transition. For my average employ (navigation, Part suite, etc.) and since I was only 4 GB of RAM, I wouldn't do good by using a 64 bit Bone.
64-bit OSs are non an operating system more than rubber and stable. Yes, I'm aware of backward compatibility, merely why I want to install 64-flake software because they employ more than resources (both in terms of deejay space and RAM) when all I demand is available in 32-fleck?
Perhaps you lot have more than iv GB of RAM, and maybe you're using a program like Photoshop or Auto CAD. If this is the case I certainly recognize the need for a 64 flake Os. Otherwise, for the average user, 64-bit is only a hype, a marketing tool or a buzz.
These are simply my two cents
PS: I tried these commuter yesterday and it didn't really install anything. I tried earlier official HP drivers and magically everything works. Thus, they are not a driver 64 fleck OS but later on all
G780 keyboard does not work, but ONLY if the Elan Touchpad driver is installed.
I have a bad surprise today--unlike other manufacturers, which offers one twelvemonth complimentary tech support, Lenovo does not. $179 for a contract or $89 to encompass an isolated incident. Thank yous, guys. :-/
Here's my problem.
G780, bought last October. Upgrade to Win7 Home Premium Win8 Pro.
A few days ago the integrated keyboard has stopped working. Information technology works in the BIOS, only when yous offset in Windows, Windows does not recognize it.
There is a PS/2 keyboard driver and device keyboard HID that appear in Win8 Device Manager. I guess these are the drivers for the congenital-in keyboard. If I plug in a USB keyboard, information technology appears in the device every bit an additional device keyboard HID Manager.
By trial and fault, I discovered that the keyboard still works fine when the Elan touchpad commuter is not installed. The problem with THAT: I can not disable the touchpad unless the commuter is installed, and if the touchpad is not disabled, it will screw me up because I accidentally brush my hand against the touchpad while typing.
I likewise noticed that sometimes the touchpad in the system tray icon with a Alarm icon overlaid on superlative of information technology (you know, the little yellow triangle with exclamation point). I can't understand why, and I can't understand what has changed on my computer that caused the keyboard to terminate operation properly.
I tried uninstalling the Elan touchpad commuter, download the latest driver from support G780 spider web page and put it back. No luck.
I make practise with a USB keyboard at the moment, but I really need this problem is resolved.
Thanks in advance.
So I had uninstalled the drivers of momentum before... yesterday I tried to reinstall those supplied with the computer.
At least the keyboard worked at present, merely the drivers accept not been properly disable the touchpad when I plugged the mouse.
Then I hit Fn - F6, not actually thinking that he would practise anything, but it fixed the trouble.
I would have but the pilot would have overridden some setting I put with Fn - F6, merely... perchance non.
Problem solved.
Synaptics Touchpad Driver problem - no commuter appropriate to be installed (G580 20150)
I downloaded the Synaptics Touchpad Driver for Windows 8.1 (32 - scrap, 64 - chip) installed, simply I go this error.
What is Lenovo?
Nassera salvation,
Thanks for posting!
Have yous been able to check your touchpad settings before the upgrade if you have a touchpad Synaptics or momentum?
According to the support download site, G580 could have Synaptics or momentum
Elan touchpad, according to the back up site doesn't take a driver yet for windows eight.ane and nevertheless works with the generic Windows 8.1 driver

New Lenovo Ideapad Z710 friend refuses to install the touchpad driver.
A few weeks ago my friend bought new a laptop Lenovo Ideapad Z710 pre-installed with Win8. I "upgraded" to Windows 7 for him, equally none of us can handle the new OS. Usually, I take no trouble to reinstall the drivers afterwards installing a new Bone, but for some reason that its touchpad driver does Non install.
I use the official driver for his computer, plain is a synaptics driver and information technology says it should piece of work completely fine with Windows 7, but when I try to run the installation, I go the mistake "Synaptics Device Not Found!"
There are a few issues that I believe are related to the driver not beingness installed that can tell y'all something. When he closes the hat of the laptop and open it again, the mouse jumps over the screen constantly, and he tin can't use the computer until it restarts. In add-on, he cannot plough his touchpad, which I suppose is a part that comes with the driver.
Any aid or contribution is greatly appreciated, if you need more information, do not hesitate to ask.
Thanks again,
-Tyler
Are y'all sure the touchpad isn't a Synaptics touchpad ElanTech? If ElanTech, try to uninstall the currently installed driver. Then install the driver from the website. During the installation of the driver not to put a check mark in the box that says driver Synaptics install at present.
